The 14th Annual Judge Kit Carson Roque, Jr. Scholarship Banquet was held October 1, 2011 at the Marriott Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. Judges, lawyers, professors, elected officials, law students, and other guests enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating this worthy cause.
Congratulations to our scholarship recipients – Karma Johnson, Adrienne Haynes, and Ebonie Davis. We wish them much success and we’re looking forward to great things from them in the future. Congratulations also to Dana Tippin Cutler on receiving this year’s Lewis W. Clymer Award for her outstanding contributions to the legal profession and the community. Special thanks to our dual guest speakers, Prof. Ronald Sullivan of the Harvard Law School, and his wife, Stephanie Robinson, President and CEO of the Jamestown Project, and Lecturer at Harvard Law School. We appreciate them sharing their insights and words of wisdom with us.
